Holder of a doctorate in geology and pedology, Etienne BEKOA is a lecturer at the University of Yaounde I (Cameroon). He also accumulates several certificates including a certificate in applied geology and environment. He is interested in climate change and its impact on the development of African countries.
His current projects focus on:
– Climate change, in order to understand and act concretely on the consequences of these changes on African countries.
The visible impacts of climate change and the vulnerability of African countries to these changes.
The impact of climate change on oil palm, cocoa and coffee crops and soil degradation.
– The impact of the use of alternative fuels by aviation and the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere (in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO, Montreal).
